The 2026 50c 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Kapyong Uncirculated Coin honours one of the most important engagements involving Australian forces during the Korean War. Fought between 22–27 April 1951, the Battle of Kapyong saw the 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), alongside allied forces, successfully defend strategic positions against overwhelming enemy attacks.

The reverse design, created by Royal Australian Mint designer Bronwyn Scott, pays tribute to the courage and sacrifice of those who served during the battle. Incorporated into the artwork are 32 poppies, representing the Australian soldiers who lost their lives at Kapyong. The background pattern draws inspiration from traditional Korean lattice designs, creating a meaningful connection to the location and history of the conflict.

The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III designed by Daniel Thorne.

Struck by the Royal Australian Mint to an uncirculated standard, this commemorative 50c coin has a strictly limited mintage of 40,000 and is issued as Australian legal tender.
